C.L.A.N. Trainings and Grants for sustainable partnerships

On 8th December 2020, we are launching a new online capacity building program: the Civic Leaders Advocacy Network C.L.A.N. The program is aimed at partners of Dekabristen e.V. - founders and managers of social enterprises, NGOs, programs for citizenship education and international cooperation from Belarus, Georgia, Germany, Moldova, Russia and Ukraine.

The C.L.A.N. Program is part of the project “Sustainable Development Lab”. From December, 2020, until March, 2021, the participants will learn from best practices and develop sustainable approaches for the management of civic projects, online events and international programs. In ten interactive modules, we will discuss together with the participants the challenges of our work due to the Covid-19 restrictions and try to find solutions for questions both concerning our current and future project work as well as our partnerships: How can we work together effectively online? How can we keep on strengthening our partnerships without meeting physically? How do we stay visible and continue to reach our target groups without offline events? How do we deal with the challenges of digitization? How can we integrate social and ecological sustainability into our work?

During the C.L.A.N. Program, the participants will also develop new project ideas for sustainable development and receive microgrants to implement them in 2021, e.g. during the Global Week to Act for SDGs” in autumn 2021.
