Affordable clean energy against climate change. Moldova report

First shadow report on the achievement of sustainable development goals 7 and 13 in Moldova
What is the status of the implementation of SDG 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy) and SDG 13 (Climate Action) in Moldova? What are the major obstacles in achieving the Goals until 2030 and how can government and civil society tackle these challenges? In the first independent review, experts present a comprehensive assessment of the government's actions within the framework of achieving SDGs 7 and 13 in Moldova from the point of view of civil society. They note the obvious dependence of the country's energy system, which makes it impossible to achieve reliability and availability of energy for all residents. In addition, the review notes the country's vulnerability to climate change and the need to prioritize and intensify the topic of adaptation to future changes for the government, civil society and business.

The first shadow report “Affordable and Clean Energy against Climate Change – Moldova Report” on SDG 7 and SDG 13 is the result of the joint cooperation between EcoVisio Moldova with Dekabristen e.V. (Germany) and Open School for Sustainable Development (Russia) with support of the Federal Foreign Office Germany.
